Downloading and installing the Binance APP is just the first step — registration and setup are equally important. Yihang has compiled the complete process from installation to full usage. If you haven't downloaded yet, register a Binance account to get official links, then get the Binance APP to complete installation.
The Right Way to Download Binance
Before downloading, make sure you're getting the official installation package. Android users should download the APK through Yihang's provided links. iOS users need a non-mainland Apple ID to download from the App Store.
After downloading, Android users simply open the APK file to install. The system may ask you to enable "Install from unknown sources" — this is normal. iOS users download from the App Store and install automatically.
Registration Process Explained
Open the Binance APP and tap the "Register" button on the homepage. You'll see two registration methods: email and phone number.
Email registration: Enter your regular email address and set a password (at least 8 characters, including upper and lowercase letters and numbers). If you have a referral code, it will auto-fill and earn you trading fee discounts. Tap register, and the system will send a verification code to your email.
Phone registration: Select your country code, enter your phone number and password. After submission, you'll receive an SMS verification code.
Completing Identity Verification
After logging in, the system will prompt you to complete identity verification (KYC). This is a required step — unverified accounts have limited features.
Identity verification has two levels. Basic verification requires personal information like name, date of birth, and address. Advanced verification requires uploading ID photos and facial recognition.
Prepare your ID document, follow the APP's prompts to photograph the front and back, then complete a selfie or facial recognition. The entire process takes about three to five minutes, with review usually completed quickly.
Essential Security Settings
After verification, we strongly recommend these security settings immediately:
Bind Google Authenticator: Find "Google Authenticator" in the Security Center, download the Google Authenticator app, and scan the QR code to bind. Be sure to back up the secret key — you'll need it to recover if your phone is lost.
Set anti-phishing code: Set a memorable code in Security Center. Every email from Binance will include this code, helping you identify real versus fake emails.
Set a fund password: Create a separate password for sensitive operations like withdrawals, different from your login password.
Your First Deposit and Trade
After security setup, you can start depositing funds. The simplest method for beginners is P2P trading to buy USDT with fiat currency. In the APP, tap "Buy Crypto," select P2P trading, enter your amount, and choose a well-rated merchant to complete the transaction.
Once USDT arrives, you can buy any cryptocurrency you're interested in on the spot market.
