Where to Check Block Confirmations for Your Binance Deposit

2026-03-26 · 16 min read
How to view deposit block confirmation progress and transaction status on the Binance app and website.

You sent a deposit to Binance and want to see how far along it is — how many confirmations have gone through. But after browsing through the app, you cannot figure out where to look. This article shows you how to quickly find the block confirmation count and transaction progress for your deposit.

Make sure you have already created a Binance account and are logged in. For the best viewing experience, use the latest version of the app from get the Binance app.

What Are Block Confirmations?

Block confirmations are a measure of how secure an on-chain transaction is. After your transfer is included in a block, every new block that is produced adds one more confirmation. The higher the confirmation count, the lower the chance of the transaction being reversed.

To ensure fund safety, Binance sets a minimum confirmation requirement for each network. Your deposit is only credited to your account after the required number of confirmations is reached.

For example, the Ethereum network may require 64 confirmations at roughly 12 seconds per block — at least about 12 minutes of waiting. Meanwhile, TRC20 may require only 1 confirmation, which takes just seconds.

Checking Confirmations in the Binance App

Method 1: Via the Assets Page

  1. Open the Binance app
  2. Tap "Assets" on the bottom navigation bar
  3. Tap the clock icon or "Transaction History" in the upper right corner
  4. Select the "Deposit" tab
  5. Find the deposit you want to check and tap to view details

On the detail page, you will see something like "Confirmations: 12/64." The first number is the current confirmed count, and the second is the total required. Once the first number equals or exceeds the second, the deposit is complete.

Method 2: Via the Deposit Page

  1. Open the Binance app
  2. Tap "Deposit"
  3. Look for "View History" or "Deposit History" near the top of the page
  4. Locate the corresponding deposit detail

Method 3: Via the Home Screen Notification

If you have a deposit currently being processed, the Binance app homepage may display a notification banner. Tapping this banner takes you directly to the deposit detail page.

Checking Confirmations on Binance's Website

  1. Log in to the Binance website
  2. Click "Wallet" in the upper right corner and select "Spot Wallet"
  3. Find "Transaction History" or "Deposit History"
  4. Filter by "Deposit" type
  5. Click the relevant deposit record to view details

The information on the website is essentially the same as the app, including the confirmation progress.

Using a Blockchain Explorer for More Detailed Information

If you want to see deeper transaction-level details, you can look it up on a blockchain explorer.

Getting the Transaction Hash

The Binance deposit detail page usually displays the transaction hash (TxID/TxHash). Tap to copy it or click the link to jump directly to the corresponding blockchain explorer.

If Binance has not yet shown the transaction, you can also get the hash from the sender (your wallet or another exchange).

Blockchain Explorers for Different Networks

  • Ethereum (ERC20): etherscan.io
  • TRON (TRC20): tronscan.org
  • BSC (BEP20): bscscan.com
  • Solana: solscan.io
  • Bitcoin: blockchain.com or mempool.space
  • Arbitrum: arbiscan.io
  • Optimism: optimistic.etherscan.io

On a blockchain explorer, you can see:

  • Transaction status (Success, Failed, or Pending)
  • Current block confirmation count
  • Sender and receiver addresses
  • Transfer amount and fee
  • Exact transaction time

Confirmation Requirements for Major Networks

Different tokens and networks have different confirmation requirements on Binance. Here are approximate reference values for some common networks (always refer to the latest Binance announcements for actual requirements):

Bitcoin (BTC)

Requires 1 to 2 confirmations, with each block taking about 10 minutes. Small deposits may credit with just 1 confirmation.

Ethereum (ETH/ERC20 Tokens)

Usually requires 64 confirmations at roughly 12 seconds per block — approximately 12–15 minutes.

TRON (TRC20)

Usually requires only 1 confirmation — a few seconds to 1 minute to complete.

BSC (BEP20)

Usually requires around 15 confirmations at about 3 seconds per block — less than 1 minute total.

Solana

The confirmation requirement is relatively low — usually a few seconds to 1 minute.

You can see the specific "minimum deposit confirmations" listed below the address when you select a token and network on Binance's deposit page. After you create a Binance account, you can check each network's specific requirements in the app.

What If the Confirmation Count Is Not Moving?

If you notice the confirmation count on the deposit detail page has not been increasing for a long time, the following could be the cause:

The Transaction Has Not Been Included in a Block Yet

Your transaction may still be sitting in the mempool, waiting for miners to include it. This is more common on Ethereum, especially when the gas fee is set too low.

Network Congestion

The entire blockchain network is handling too much traffic and block production has slowed. In this situation, you can only wait.

The Sender's Transaction Was Never Broadcast

Some wallets may fail to broadcast the transaction to the blockchain due to network issues. Go back to the sender to check the transaction status.

Binance System Maintenance

If confirmations have already met the requirement but the status is still processing, Binance may be performing system maintenance or experiencing an internal processing delay.

Frequently Asked Questions

The confirmation count is met but the deposit has not arrived — what is going on?

After the confirmation count is met, Binance's system still needs a little time for internal processing and crediting. This usually happens within a few minutes. If it has been more than 30 minutes, contact support.

Why do different tokens have different confirmation requirements?

This relates to the security model of each blockchain. Some chains produce blocks quickly but need more confirmations to ensure safety, while others are inherently secure so the requirement is lower. Binance sets appropriate security standards based on each chain's characteristics.

Can I speed up confirmations?

Blockchain confirmation speed is determined by the network itself — you cannot directly speed it up. However, if your transaction has not been included in a block yet, you may be able to add more gas through the sender to improve the chances of being prioritized by miners.

Why was it much faster than expected sometimes?

Binance may dynamically adjust confirmation requirements under certain conditions. For example, small deposits may require fewer confirmations before being credited.

Security Reminders

  • Only check deposit progress through the official Binance app or official website
  • Do not click random "Binance" links from search engines — beware of phishing sites
  • Blockchain explorers are public tools and do not require entering any passwords
  • If someone claims they can speed up your confirmation progress and asks for a fee, it is a scam
  • Be patient and wait for confirmations to complete — in most cases, it is just a matter of time

Understanding block confirmations and how to check them gives you peace of mind during the deposit wait. Knowing exactly where your transaction stands prevents blind anxiety. And if something truly goes wrong, you can describe the issue more accurately, helping support resolve it faster.
