Do Binance's Web and Mobile APP Have the Same Features?

2026-03-28 · 8 min read

Binance offers both a web version and a mobile APP — are their features the same? What are the advantages of each? After registering a Binance account, you can use both. We recommend using both the Binance APP and web version together.

Core Features Are Identical

In terms of core trading functionality, the web and APP versions are completely identical, including:

  • Spot trading (buying and selling crypto)
  • Futures trading (going long and short)
  • C2C trading (buying/selling with fiat currency)
  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Binance Earn products
  • Identity verification and security settings
  • Order management and trade history

Everything you can do on the APP, you can do on the web, and vice versa. Your account data syncs fully between both platforms.

Web Version Advantages

Larger screen real estate. Computer screens are much bigger than phones. When viewing candlestick charts, depth charts, and position information, you can display more data simultaneously. For traders who do technical analysis, the web experience is noticeably better.

Richer charting tools. The web version's TradingView charts provide more complete technical indicators and drawing tools. You can precisely draw trend lines and configure indicator parameters on the big screen.

Multi-window operation. On a computer, you can open multiple browser tabs — watching charts in one while placing orders in another, or monitoring multiple trading pairs simultaneously. This isn't possible on a phone.

Keyboard shortcuts. The web version supports keyboard shortcuts, making it more efficient for frequent traders.

APP Advantages

Anywhere, anytime. The APP's biggest advantage is portability. Wherever you are, pull out your phone to check prices and trade. The crypto market runs 24/7, and the APP ensures you never miss important opportunities.

Push notifications. The APP lets you set price alerts and various notifications — it'll notify you instantly when a coin hits your target price. The web version requires keeping the page open.

Biometric login. The APP supports fingerprint and face recognition for quick login — no need to enter your password every time. Maximum security with maximum convenience.

Easier C2C trading. During C2C transactions, payments via Alipay, WeChat, or banking apps happen right on your phone — no switching between devices.

Lite mode. The APP's lite mode is perfect for beginners — clean interface, intuitive operation, and a lower barrier to entry.

Recommended Usage Strategy

For most users, the best approach is to use both:

Daily use: APP. Checking prices, receiving notifications, quick buys and sells, and C2C trading are all more convenient on the APP.

Deep analysis: Web. Switch to the computer web version for technical analysis, viewing detailed data, and configuring complex futures trading settings.

Cross-verify important operations. When making large transfers or changing security settings, cross-check between the APP and web to ensure accuracy.

Security Reminders

Regardless of which platform you use, stay security-conscious:

  • On the web, make sure you're visiting the official Binance domain — don't click links from unknown sources
  • Always log out after using public computers
  • Enable biometric login and app lock on the mobile APP
  • Enable Google Authenticator 2FA on both platforms

Each approach has its strengths — flexibly choose based on the situation.
