The Binance APP comes with TradingView's professional charting tools built in, making technical analysis on your phone incredibly convenient. Register a Binance account now to use these professional-grade analysis tools for free. Be sure to get the Binance APP for technical analysis anytime, anywhere.

How to Open the TradingView Chart

In the Binance APP, open any trading pair page and you'll see the default candlestick chart. Tap the chart area or the fullscreen button to enter the complete TradingView chart interface. In fullscreen mode, you have access to all charting tools and technical indicators.

If you prefer landscape mode, rotate your phone horizontally and the chart will automatically switch to landscape, providing more display space and a better analysis experience.

Switching Candlestick Timeframes

At the bottom or top of the chart, you'll find the timeframe selector. The Binance TradingView chart supports various timeframes from 1 minute to 1 month, including:

  • Ultra-short-term: 1min, 3min, 5min, 15min
  • Short-term: 30min, 1H, 2H, 4H
  • Medium-term: 6H, 12H, 1D
  • Long-term: 3D, 1W, 1M

Different trading styles suit different timeframes. Day traders typically focus on 5-minute to 1-hour charts, swing traders watch 4-hour to daily charts, and long-term investors rely on weekly and monthly charts.

Adding Technical Indicators

Tap the indicator button on the chart (usually shown as an "fx" icon) to open the indicator search panel. The Binance TradingView charts include hundreds of built-in technical indicators, including the most commonly used:

  • Moving Averages (MA, EMA, SMA)
  • Relative Strength Index (RSI)
  • Bollinger Bands
  • MACD
  • Volume
  • Stochastic (KDJ)

You can add multiple indicators simultaneously for overlay display. Each indicator's parameters can be customized — for example, changing the MA period from the default 20 to 50 or 200.

Using Drawing Tools

TradingView's drawing tools are among its most powerful features. In the toolbar on the left or bottom of the chart, you'll find various drawing tools:

  • Trend lines: The most basic drawing tool for marking support and resistance levels
  • Horizontal lines: Marking key price levels
  • Fibonacci retracement: Analyzing key retracement and reversal levels
  • Rectangles: Marking consolidation zones
  • Parallel channels: Drawing price channels

Drawing on a phone takes some practice. We suggest zooming to the right position first, then drawing precisely. You can long-press drawn lines to edit or delete them.

Switching Chart Types

Besides the standard candlestick chart, Binance TradingView supports multiple chart types:

  • Line chart: Shows only closing prices, good for observing major trends
  • Area chart: A filled version of the line chart
  • Heikin Ashi: Smoothed candlesticks that reduce noise
  • Hollow candles: Uses color and fill to distinguish bullish and bearish candles

Different chart types suit different analysis scenarios. Heikin Ashi charts are particularly useful for trend traders, as they show trend direction more clearly.

Saving and Sharing Charts

Indicators, drawings, and settings you add to the chart can be saved as templates. They'll automatically restore next time you open the same trading pair. You can also take chart screenshots to share with friends or post on social media.

Practical Tips

When using Binance TradingView charts, a few tips can enhance your experience. Pinch with two fingers to zoom, swipe left and right with one finger to view historical data. In fullscreen mode, tap the settings gear icon to adjust the chart's color scheme, choosing between dark or light backgrounds.

For users accustomed to using TradingView on desktop, the mobile version in the Binance APP is somewhat streamlined but meets the vast majority of technical analysis needs. Combined with the APP's quick order feature, you can analyze and trade in one seamless flow.
