Properly configuring Binance APP notifications lets you stay informed about important events without being disturbed by noise. After registering a Binance account and getting the Binance APP, customize your notification settings as needed.
Allow APP Notifications
First, ensure you've granted notification permissions to the Binance APP at the system level:
Android: Settings → App Management → Binance → Notifications → Enable "Allow notifications."
iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Find Binance → Enable "Allow Notifications." You can choose notification style (banner, lock screen, notification center, etc.).
If you declined notification permissions during installation, you can re-enable them at the above locations.
In-APP Notification Settings
Open the Binance APP → Profile → Notification Settings (or Message Settings). You'll see toggles for multiple notification types:
Trading notifications. Notifications for order fills, limit order triggers, and other trading events. We recommend keeping these enabled to stay informed about every trade execution.
Security notifications. Login alerts, withdrawal confirmations, password change notices, and other security-related notifications. We strongly recommend keeping these enabled — they're critical for account security.
Market notifications. Alerts when the market experiences significant volatility. Enable based on personal needs; active traders should keep these on.
Activity notifications. Information about Binance promotions, new token launches, Launchpool events, etc. Enable if you follow Binance events; otherwise disable to reduce noise.
System notifications. System maintenance, version updates, etc. We recommend keeping these enabled.
Setting Up Price Alerts
Price alerts are one of the most practical notification features. You can set target prices for tokens you're watching, and the APP pushes a notification when the market price is hit.
Setup: Open a token's market page → Find the "Alert" or "Price Alert" button (usually a bell icon) → Set the target price and alert direction (price rises to X or falls to X) → Save.
You can set multiple price alerts simultaneously for different tokens and price levels. When conditions are triggered, you receive a push notification even if the APP isn't open.
Notification Strategy Recommendations
Beginners: We recommend enabling all security and trading notifications, while disabling activity notifications and most market notifications. Avoid information overload and focus on security and your own trades.
Active traders: Enable all notification types, especially price alerts and market volatility notifications. Setting alerts at key price levels helps you catch trading opportunities.
Long-term holders: Enable security notifications only, and disable frequent market and activity notifications. Reduce market noise and stay committed to your long-term investment strategy.
Managing Notification Frequency
If you find notifications too frequent, make these adjustments:
- Narrow your price alert ranges to focus only on the most important levels
- Disable activity and promotional notifications you don't care about
- Adjust Binance's notification priority in your phone's system settings
- Use "Do Not Disturb" mode to block all notifications during specific time periods
Email and SMS Notifications
In addition to APP push notifications, Binance also sends important notifications via email. You can manage email subscription preferences in account settings, choosing which types of email notifications to receive.
We recommend keeping security-related email notifications enabled (login alerts, withdrawal confirmations, etc.). Marketing emails can be subscribed to or unsubscribed from based on personal preference.
Properly configured notifications help you receive important information immediately while avoiding unnecessary disruptions. Adjust your notification settings periodically based on your usage habits.
